Modes of Learning

Asian College of Teachers offers teacher training courses in three different modes – Online, Distance, and In-class. 21st century learners look for programs that they can connect to, courses that are flexible and accessible. The certificate you are going to receive is just the same certificate with equal credibility.

ACT’s online trainees will receive complete support from administrative and from academic teams. There are also videos attached to the course materials that are completely tailor-made for the particular program.

Distance learning provides enough flexibility

ACT also offers teacher training courses in distance learning. The distance learning mode has become popular in the modern frame of education since it offers flexibility as well.

The distance learning mode provides enough flexibility for learners to pursue the course at their own pace. Students do not need to go anywhere to attend any training sessions. Learners may prefer distance learning mode as it is cost-effective. Furthermore, the program adheres to a learner-centric teaching approach and allows the trainees to take up the course from the comfort of their homes.

Distance learners will receive support from ACT's admin and academic teams. After enrolling, they receive a call from tutors. The course materials along with the videos will be sent to their registered address once they clear their course fees. They can also avail the online chat option with tutors between 10 am and 6 pm.

Webinar based learning to interact with your teachers and peers

ACT’s webinar sessions have been developed by our expert Academic bodies who truly believe that no matter what the situation is, learning should not stop. So, when our learners are unable to attend in-class/classroom programs, they can simply attend Webinar based learning sessions. Asian College of Teachers offers webinar sessions for students across the globe to get the opportunity to attend live classes to interact with our facilitators and with their peers; to collaborate - from their home, just with the click of a button. Access to the learning materials and assignments is given online. With webinars, students get the opportunity to experience online audio-visual classes by interacting with teachers and peers.
In the webinars session, there are multiple skilled trainers to facilitate the sessions, to help you with your lessons, assignments and clear all your doubts and queries, if any.

  • Save money with no more traveling to attend classes
  • Multiple interactive sessions with peers & expert trainers
  • If you miss your web sessions, pre-recorded videos are available
  • Both online assignments and assignments are given by the trainers
  • Option for Teaching Practice is available

In-class learning - the traditional mode of learning

In-class learning is a traditional and most preferred mode of learning for one to experience with the trainer and fellow trainees.

You may need to relocate to another city or you need to travel to attend the classes if you are from the same city, nonetheless, you will have the opportunity to learn the latest methods and approaches in a classroom environment and feel motivated. Also working in a group allows all of the training to be focused on relevant topics followed by real discussions. In-class learning is just like regular and systematic learning. It always has an extra edge since you will be able to interact with the trainer present in front of you. The experience of sharing, feeling supported by the trainer and peers can be extremely stimulating.
